O’Hare industrial market continues to shine

Investors also have been focused on this submarket for many years, due to its potential to generate strong returns. Brown Commercial Group recently negotiated four transactions totaling 35,664 square feet, including three in the O’Hare submarket. The firm worked with owners, investors and tenants to help them secure the best options for their needs.
According to this IL Real Estate Journals story, Broker Pat Crowley represented A-1 Outlet Store, Inc. in leasing a 15,000-square-foot space at 237-239 James St. in Bensenville, Illinois, in the O’Hare submarket. The tenant is a wholesale appliance company that was tripling its space, moving from another O’Hare submarket location.
O’Hare industrial market investment soars
Vice President of Sales Mason Hezner was also active in the O’Hare industrial market, represented MJA Capital LLC in selling a 9,664-square-foot industrial building at 10035-10045 Pacific Ave. in Franklin Park, Illinois. Brown Commercial Group Broker Candace Scurto represented the buyer, Freez-O Electricals LLC, which distributes, sells and maintains cooler and refrigeration products. Hezner also represented the buyer, 50 Joey LLC, and the seller, a private investor, in selling a 6,000-square-foot industrial space at 50 Joey Drive in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The tenant was leasing in a nearby location and wanted to purchase their own space.
In the fourth transaction, Hezner represented EMG Commercial Roofing, Inc. in buying a 5,000-square-foot property at 911 W. Estes Court in Schaumburg, Illinois. Crowley represented the seller, a private owner. The buyer was facing a large rental increase from his landlord and decided to buy a space instead.
