Brown Commercial Group facilitates five suburban leases
Brown Commercial Group recently represented businesses in five transactions totaling 32,744 square feet in Chicago’s suburban market. The properties are located in Bartlett, Downers Grove, Elgin and St. Charles, Illinois.
“Many businesses are in expansion mode, particularly in the industrial sector, which continues to see considerable activity in the suburban market,” said Mike Antonelli, partner at Brown Commercial Group. “Activity is particularly strong in the outlying suburbs where lower operating costs provide considerable benefits.”
Brown Commercial Group broker, Brian Lindgren, represented both the landlord, a private investor, and the tenant, RV6 Performance LLC, in a 10,361-square-foot lease at 3825 Commerce Drive in St. Charles. The tenant is a manufacturer of performance exhaust systems and nearly doubled its square footage from its previous location in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
Brown Commercial Group partner, Trinity Scurto, represented Ox Creative in a 9,851-square-foot creative loft office space at 1 Douglas Avenue in downtown Elgin. The company was expanding from a 2,500-square-foot space in East Dundee, Illinois. Michael DeSerto of Entre Commercial represented the landlord, Kresmary Properties. Also in Elgin, Lindgren represented the tenant and the building owner in SERVPRO of Elgin’s lease of 5,032 square feet at 955 Grace Street from a private investor.
In Downers Grove, Brown Commercial broker, Matt Hanson, represented Restaurant Delivery Simplified, a wholesaler of dry food goods, in leasing 6,000 square feet at 2225 Curtiss Street from a private investor; Antonelli represented the building owner. Finally, Brown Commercial Group senior broker, Jim Pietrarosso, represented Opus Pure in leasing 1,500 square feet of office and warehouse space at 1261 Humbracht Circle in Bartlett.
