Food distribution company buys 22K SF building
March 25, 2025 — A Chicago food distribution company purchased a 22,000-square-foot building in the O’Hare submarket, a show of continued strength in the food industry. Brown Commercial Group’s Vice Presidents Mason Hezner and Candace Scurto represented seller Athos Rawls Road in the sale of 90 Rawls Road in Des Plaines, IL in the O’Hare submarket. As highlighted in Bisnow’s Chicago Deal Sheet, the buyer, GCB LLC, paid $2.45 million for the property.
The property received multiple offers shortly after going on the market. “Given the strong demand for smaller industrial facilities and this property’s specialized food industry features, there was significant competition for the space,” said Hezner.
