Pat Mooney Company buys two industrial flex buildings in Addison, IL
Pat Mooney Saw Company, a national importer and distributor of metal sawing machinery, accessories and saw blades, has acquired 16 and 34 W. Official Dr. in Addison, IL, two flex properties that combined total 26,554 square feet.
Mike Antonelli, Senior Associate at Brown Commercial Group, Inc., represented the Pat Mooney Saw Company in both acquisitions, which will accommodate the firm’s expansion of its warehouse and office operations. Pat Mooney Saw Company plans to fully occupy both buildings following an early 2015 relocation date.
“Pat Mooney Saw Company was able to capitalize on a great opportunity to acquire two buildings in close proximity to its current location,” said Antonelli. “These acquisitions will help further position the company for growth well into the future.”
The building at 16 W. Official Dr. is 13,452 square feet and the building at 34 W. Official Dr. is 13,102 square feet. Nick Eboli of Lee and Associates represented the sellers of both buildings. The sale price of each transaction was not disclosed.
In a separate lease transaction, Antonelli represented both the lessor and the lessee in IP Automation’s relocation and expansion into 4,411 square feet at 111 South Lombard in Addison, IL. The company was previously based in Lombard, IL. The move allowed the engineering design firm to more than double its square footage into a more heavily-concentrated industrial area.
