Brown Commercial Group announces multiple industrial deals

Brown Commercial Group negotiated five transactions totaling 34,476 square feet, including a 5.13-acre property sale in McHenry County that included a four-unit industrial building and outdoor space for transportation parking.

Broker Candace Scurto represented a private trucking company in buying the 5.13-acre property at 5219 N. Richmond Road, Ringwood, IL, which has three residential homes and one 12,160-square-foot, industrial building on the site. The property was sold after a bidding war with other potential buyers.

“There is an incredible demand for truck parking right now, as investors continue to buy up all the available industrial buildings for e-commerce and logistics uses and trucking companies are left with few options for parking spaces,” Scurto said. “This property was ideal because it filled the need for parking and allows the buyer to secure investment income from the industrial space.”

Other Industry Building Transactions

·       Broker Collin Tyrrell represented CSD Imaging Supplies, Inc. in leasing 6,852 square feet at 921 N. State St in Elgin, IL and A-1 Restoration, Inc. in leasing a 5,000-square-foot building at 10637 and 10639 Wolf Drive in Huntley, IL.

·       Senior Broker Mason Hezner represented SD Direct Properties LLC in selling a 5,049-square-foot industrial building at 450 Bennett Rd. in Elk Grove Village, IL. Scurto represented the buyer, a private investor.

·       Scurto represented a multi-generational grocery business, Taste Real Chicago, LLC in a 3,000-square-foot lease at 7227 W. Wilson Ave., Harwood Heights, IL. Terri Alexander of Transwestern represented the landlord.

·       Scurto also negotiated a 2,415-square-foot building sale at 546 W. Campus Drive in Arlington Heights, IL. Brian Properties represented the seller.
