Vacant land sale to bring new townhomes to DuPage County
June 24, 2024 — Brown Commercial Group represented a private land owner and negotiated a 9-acre vacant land sale that will become a new townhome development in Chicago’s western suburbs.
Broker Pat Crowley negotiated the sale of the land at Lies and Fair Oaks roads in Carol Stream, Illinois, to John McHale of Bridge Street Properties of Naperville.
“This land was ideally suited for residential development given its location and proximity to other housing communities,” said Crowley. “At Brown Commercial, we are always evaluating market conditions and demand drivers in order to find the best use for a property.”
Bridge Street Properties plans to develop the site in partnership with Pulte Homes. The property will become The Villas of Fair Oaks, featuring 32 two and three-bedroom townhomes with two car garages.
The vacant land sale location is northwest of County Farm Road and North Avenue, two major thoroughfares in that western suburb. The site is close to golf courses, a variety of dining options and local restaurants and retail establishments.
